with an approved digital vendor(s) for up to $4800

The Boost Your Online Presence Grant helps small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to

  • increase sales
  • connect with customers
  • improve search engines presence to attract more clients
  • improve social media marketing
  • Improve business digital presence
  • Improve user experience online

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Boost Your Online Presence Grant your business must meet the following criteria:

  • You company is a for-profit business
  • Your company must be registered or incorporated
  • Your company has a functional business website
  • Your company is a service-based business
  • Your company had at least $100,000 revenue in the most recent tax year
  • Offline Business. Your business operates primarily through physical interactions and transactions, without reliance on the internet for its core functions.
  • You have to agree to complete the follow-up surveys, and to provide information about your experience with the grant
  • You agree to have your company name published as a grant recipient
  • The grant administration reserves the right to determine the eligibility of applicants

The following types of Business are not eligible for the grant:

  • Previous recipients of the Boost Your Online Presence Grant or the Grow Your Business Online Grant.
  • Non Profit Organizations
  • Charities
  • Retail Stores
  • Restaurants
  • Corporate Chains
  • Franchises
  • Brokerage companies, such as mortgage brokers, investment advisors, insurance agents, real estate agents, etc.

Eligible Expenses

The grant can be used to cover 75% of costs with an approved digital vendor(s) for projects related to

  • Hiring a consultant to develop digital marketing strategies for your business
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) to improve your business website search engines rankings
  • Business Website Content updates (as long as their related to search engine optimization for your website)
  • Social media marketing campaign for your company

The following expenses are not eligible for the grant:

  • Expenses made before the grant approval
  • Website Updates, if they are not related to SEO or social media marketing campaign(s)
  • Sponsored Placement expenses with platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, X ads, Reddit Ads, Quora Ads, and other similar platforms
  • Hardware Purchase
  • Opportunity costs
  • Lobbyist Expenses
  • New capital expenditures
